Neem Seed Oil is a naturally occurring safe, non-toxic, eco-friendly, bio-degradable, anti-fungal and bio-pesticide found in seeds from the Neem (Azadirachata indica) tree. It is dark greenish-yellow to brown in colour, has a bitter taste, and a garlic/sulphur smell. Azadirachtin is the most active component in Neem Seed Oil which repels and kills a large number of insect-pest species. 100 % Pure, Organic Natural, Filtered, Un-refined and Cold-Pressed GreenfieldEco Neem Seed Oil can be applied to a wide variety of crops and ornamental plants for effectively reducing or killing pests and insects, and preventing powdery mildew on plants. It is a useful repellent for mites and controls over 200 species of chewing or sucking insects; yet does not harm the beneficial insects. GreenfieldEco Neem Seed Oil leaves no residues in the soil and final produce. Azadirachtin can also repel and reduce the feeding of nematodes.
Our Neem Oil is:
Non-toxic to birds, fish, bees and wildlife.
Neem Seed Oil as an insecticide works as a systemic in many plants when applied as a soil drench. Using Neem Seed Oil once a week will kill insect-pests and keep fungal issues at bay.
The compound Azadirachtin causes insects to reduce or stop feeding, can prevent larvae from maturing, reduces or interrupts mating behaviour and, in some cases, the oil coats the breathing holes of insects and kills them.
Neem Seed Oil is useful against fungi, mildews and rusts when applied in a 1 % solution. It is also helpful for other kinds of issues such as Root Rot, Black Spot, Sooty Mould, etc.
Foliar Plant Spray: Mix 0.4 oz/10 ml of Neem Seed Oil in 35 oz/per litre of water along with 0.1 oz/2.5 ml of Emulsifier. Stir well and spray to completely wet BOTH SIDES of leaves once 2-3 weeks. Spraying Neem Seed Oil directly without mixing as above or over-spraying may cause leaf burn. Only mix as much as can be used immediately and apply as soon as possible since the mix will break down in storage. Avoid spraying in extreme temperatures, or when the sun is out, and to the stressed plants due to drought
