Roses
- Planting time: September-October.
- Roses need at least 6 hours sunlight and require rich, moist but well drained soil; water regularly so the soil stays moist but not waterlogged.
- Planting Technique: Cutting, Grafting, Budding, T-Budding @ 90 to 120 cm spacing
- Apply GreenfieldEco Vermicompost Plus @ 2-3 kg per m2 and GreenfieldEco Rock Phosphate @ 0.5 kg m2 or PROM 0.5 kg m2 at the time of soil preparation.
- Top dressing around plants with GreenfieldEco Rock Phosphate during the growing season @ 10 g per plant every month will result in healthy, vibrant and colourful bloom.
- Foliar Spray of GreenfieldEco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil @ 1 % concentration once in 2-3 weeks will kill insect-pests and keep fungal issues at bay.
- Prune roses annually to promote healthy growth, control the shape and encourage flowering.
Seasonal Flowers
- Planting time: Summer Flowers – March-April, Winter Flowers – September-October, Monsoon Flowers – June-July.
- Planting technique: seeds, root cuttings, flower bulbs, transplanting of saplings.
- Apply GreenfieldEco Vermicompost Plus @ 4-5 kg per m2 and GreenfieldEco Rock Phosphate @ 0.5 kg m2 or PROM 0.5 kg m2 at the time of soil preparation.
- Add GreenfieldEco Seasonal Flowers Potting Mix @ 2-3 kg m2 following the germination for luxurious growth and lustrous bloom during the peak growing season.
- Water regularly so the soil stays moist but not water logged.
Controlling Insect-pests and Diseases in Organic Farming
- Apply GreenfieldEco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Cake Powder @ 1000 lb per acre (1000 kg per ha) during plowing as soil application.
- Foliar Spray of GreenfieldEco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil @ 1 % concentration.
- Add 10 oz (300 ml) Greenfieldeco Natural Emulsifier for Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil to 30 oz (1 litre) Greenfieldeco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil and dilute by adding water to 20 gallons (75 litres). Stir well and spray on 1 acre (0.4 ha) of crop land.
- Greenfieldeco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil freezes below 70 o F (20 o Celsius). Whenever you want to use it, just warm it at around 100 0 F (40 o Celsius).
- Alternatively, Greenfieldeco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil and Greenfieldeco Natural Emulsifier for Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil could also be added in warm water at about 100 0 F (40 o Celsius) temperature, stir well and spray on crops.
- Frequency: Using GreenfieldEco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil once in 2-3 weeks will kill insect-pests and keep fungal issues at bay. However, in case of severe insect-pest infestation, use it @ 1.5 % concentration once a week.
- Caution: Spraying GreenfieldEco Organic Cold Pressed Neem Seed Oil directly without mixing as above or over-spraying may cause leaf burn. Only mix as much as can be used immediately and apply as soon as possible since the mix may break down in storage.
